Custom: DFAT Adapter Rings 3D Printed

This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

SKU: threaded-adapter-1 Category: Brand:

3D printed adapter rings for the DFAT.  Made from PLA material.

These rings are to supplement the aluminum adapter rings I have on the website.  I stock over 60 sizes of the aluminum adapter rings, there are so many scope manufactures and models 60 rings does not cover everything.  This product is for scopes where we know the diameter AND thread pitch of the scope however it is not common,  I do not have the aluminum ring.   All 3D printed rings fit the 37 DFAT

** Notes:  Be VERY careful starting the 3D printed rings.  They are softer than the scope threads so no risk to damaging scope, however if you start the ring crooked it WILL change the thread angle.  I spend a lot of time ensuring the ring is parallel and even gap around  the scope.  By threading in reverse helps to feel when the first thread falls in the scope then you can screw in.  After 1-2 revolutions I will twist the ring in and out 1/2 turn to help the threads mate.  The first time is the most difficult but by taking the extra care it will make the next times a lot easier.

Objective lens size does NOT equal adapter ring size.

Example: Scopes with 56mm objective lens scopes have sunshade threads varying from 58mm to over 62mm.

You can use the link below to find the sunshade threads of your scope.  Use the drop down list to pick your brand and then scroll through the scope models.  After you pick the scope the thread size is listed.
